One of my best friends came to town this weekend and it was her first time in Louisiana so of course I had to show her around! So here is a recap/must do's of our afternoon in Natchitoches, LA.

One.

First Grab Coffee!!!

We actually grabbed coffee before heading out of town. We stopped at Rhino Coffee -MY FAV- and I ordered the Candied Pumpkin Spice Latte with white mocha.... SO GOOD... and Summer ordered a classic latte- can never go wrong with this of course. We loaded up the car, turned on the jams, and headed south to Natchitoches.

Two.

Pack a picnic and set up by the river front.

The river front in Natchitoches is STUNNING year round with landscaping, floral blooms, and seasonal decor. There are several Magnolia trees to choose from to set up your picnic blanket under for perfect shade. The summer breeze and flowing river make for the perfect picnic spot!

Three.

Snap all the pictures of the Beau Jardin's gardens and water fall.

Beau Jardins waterfalls is a must see on the riverfront. Luscious landscapes and relaxing falls that flow to the river is the perfect spot to snap some pics and take a deep breathe of fresh air.

Four.

Shop Main Street.

If you are a fan of small shops, Mom & Pop restaurants, and boutiques this is the perfect stop for you. You can find anything your heart could dream of. From candles and soaps, home decor and furniture, and cute new clothes to add to your closest... Main Street has it all! Oh and you can't forget to stop at the Doggo Store if you bring your pup. They give free treats to all our furry friends! It was definitely CHURRO APPROVED.

Five.

& to top it off make sure to stop for an impromptu photoshoot!

All the colors, florals, and New Orleans influenced architecture makes for all the PERFECT backdrops. You can find the perfect colors to compliment your outfit around any corner. Of course I could have done this allll day... must have been the photographer in me ;)
