A fall Sunday afternoon in Natchitoches, Louisiana.

My parents and I made a quick trip to Natchitoches last weekend to visit my brother and walk along the river downtown. I have always loved Natchitoches for their Christmas lights festival but have never made the trip down in the fall. Let me tell you, I have been missing out.

The trees slightly blowing in the wind, the calm river flowing, and the birds quietly humming.

It's just what you'd pictures for a quiet, fall afternoon.

So peaceful, so tranquil.

The fall decor was placed out along the riverfront. So fall, so crisp.

Made for the perfect family photo stop.

We made our way along the river, and up the stairs.

Under the tree cover, over the bridge and past the falls.

We stop for lunch, onto dessert, and shopped local boutiques and shops.

The fall candle scents filled the air as you passed by each open door.

As we made our way back to the car, I spotted a blush colored wall.

of course I had to swing by and have my brother snap a few pictures of me. I just love all thing light, bright, and blush.

As we passed planter boxes and pumpkins, we could hear others enjoying the same relaxing stroll as we were.

Soft chatter and laughter filled the air. Oh, how I love fall.

& That is Fall in Natchitoches, Louisiana.

Make the trip down with your favorite people. You will be thankful you did.
